Description: Ludwig van Beethoven spent many summers in the suburb of Heiligenstadt, which was a popular place at the time to go for spa cures. We shall visit the house in which Beethoven wrote the “Heiligenstädter Testament” as well as some other houses and monuments commemorating the life of this extraordinary Composer.
Route: Around Heiligenstadt and Grinzing

Meet: At 2:30 p.m. at Heiligenstadt (U4, S45)
Return: End of walk at around 5:00 p.m. at a Heuriger in Heiligenstadt
Cost: Public Transport tickets, entrace to Museum (ca. 3 Euro), Heuriger
