18th April 2015: Mayerling - Peilstein (Southern Vienna Woods)
Description: We shall start the trip by looking at the new presentation/Museum at Mayerling, site of the tragedy of crownprince Rudolf. This will be followed by a pleasant walk to and around Peilstein. Lunch will be taken either at Schutzhaus Holzschlag or at Peilsteinhaus.
Route: Mayerling – Raisenmarkt – Holzschlag – Peilstein – Ruine Arnstein – Raisenmarkt.

*Meet: *At 8:30 Bahnhof Wien Meidling (U6),near ticket machines. Train to Mödling leaves at 8:49. Bus from Mödling to Mayerling at 9:30.
Return: From Raisenmarkt by bus at 4:24 p.m., to Mödling; from there regular trains to Vienna
Cost: EUR 17.- for Train, bus, and Museum.

Note: Hiking boots, clothing according to the weather, rainwear.
