Description:
Baden was a former summer residence of Kaiser Franz 1, and architecture is mostly from around 1810. Now famous as a spa, and for the wine in the surroundings.
Route:
Through town – Kurpark – Einöde – Waldandacht – Gumpoldskirchen. Break at Heurigen Rotes Mäuerl, former house of architect Adolf Loos. Then to Thallern.

11.55 at ticket office Meidling station. Train leaves at 12.07 from platform 1
Return:
Train leaves at 17.23 from Thallern, arr. Vienna around 18.00
Cost:
Public transport Vienna and from Stadtgrenze to Baden and return to Stadtgrenze
