29th July, Wednesday: Evening Hike Wilhelminenberg
Description:
A beautiful and picturesque evening hike on Wilhelminenberg. You will get the chance to climb up the JubileumsWarte, the famous viewpoint of Vienna and walk along the panoramic trails above the forest of Neuwaldegg and the wineyards of Dornbach. The hike will end with some beers and great food in the Steierstöckl Schutzhaus/Heuriger near the Pötzleinsdorfer Castle Park.
The hike is approx. 8km/5mi
Route:
Ottakring – Steinhof Park – Jubilaumswarte – Neuwaldegg – Dornbach – Steierstöckl – Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark

Meet: 17:30 at: Ottakring U-bahn station, the 46B Bus Stop (direction: Wilhelminenberg)
Bus leaves at 17:35
Return: By tram from Pötzleinsdorf
Cost: Vienna Transportation ticket for the Bus+Tram (2X2.4EUR if you don’t have the yearly Vienna Pass) + and your dinner/beers
