Description: We shall stay at Bad Mitterndorf, a good base for the daily hikes. According to weather conditions we shall do A, B, and B/C hikes, between 3 and 6 hours, perhaps in two groups. On Sunday, 1st June, we shall take the train to Bad Aussee and watch the Corso of the Narcissis Festival, both in the village and on the lake.

Route: Thursday afternoon: Obersdorfer Rundweg, A/3
Friday: Pürgg (visit of chapel with famous frescos of the 12th century) – Gindlhorn (1279m) – Dachsteinblick – Dörfl – Tauplitz, B/6
Saturday: Tauplitzalpe, either by bus and easy walk (A/B 3-4), or on foot (C/5).
Sunday: By Train to Bad Aussee, walk with the Corso to AltAussee and around the lake, A 3-4.

Meet: At 7:30 Westbahnhof; Train leaves at 7:48; change in Attnang Puchheim; arrival Bad Mitterndorf at 12 noon.
You can also travel by car if you wish. It is ca. 270 km one way. If you want to travel by car kindly indicate how many participants you can take.

Return: On Sunday from Bad Aussee, trains at 4:20 or at 6:20, arriving Vienna 4 hours later.

Cost: Ca. EUR 50 for train fare (Vorteilscard), EUR 35-40 for B&B in Pension, plus meals, plus some extra train fares/taxi sharing, plus hiking club fee.

Registration: As soon as possible, latest by 15th May. The number of participants will be limited. Your Registration should be accompanied by a down-payment of EUR 100.- to ensure Reservation of rooms. Note: Bring rucksack for daily trips to take some food, drink, extra cloth, rainwear; comfortable hiking boots. Usual stuff for overnight.
