Description: The Marchfeldkanal is an artificial waterway that was built to supply sufficient water to the Marchfeld, the vegetable garden for Vienna.
Route: VIC Wagramerstraße – Donauinsel – Langenzersdorf – Marchfeldkanal – Stammersdorf – Leopoldau (U1)

Meet: At 5:15 p.m. near the Little church next to the VIC (Wagramerstraße)
Return: To Leopoldau (U1) ca. 9:00 p.m.
Cost: Public Transport tickets plus Heuriger
Registration: By 29th May to Leader
Note: Make sure your bicycle is in good order. Bring rainwear if appropriate – and/or Swimming gear as there is an opportunity to swim in the Seeschlacht (lake)
