We will be backpacking across the remote unknown High Plain of Asiago, incl. the highest point Cima Dodici (2,336 m s.l.m.) on the northern perimeter of the Vicentine Alps. No technical difficulties or extreme altitude differences ©, though it needs usual good condition.
Route:
31.7. nighttrain 19.17 from Wien Hbf to Verona, 1.8. morning local train Verona-Rovereto, taxibus to Passo Vezzena 1400m, then hike to Cima Vezzena 1900m, Cima Manderiolo 2050m, Rifugio Val Fornica (1650m), overnight.
2.8. Rifugio Val Fornica (1650m) – Cima Larici (2030m) – Cima Dodici (2336m)- Rifugio Adriana (1750m)
3.8. Rifugio Adriana (1750m) – Rifugio Val Maron (1350m)
4.8. Rifugio Val Maron (1350m) -Enego (750m), bus 12:50 to Primolano, local train to Trento, fast train TRento-Innsbruck-Wien, arr. 23:30.
