Description: Autumn hike to the Mittagstein and Knofeleben hut via a steep route where basic climbing is required (no climbing equipment necessary but good fitness and a head for heights are essential!)
Route: Starting from Hirschwang we will climb a steep (easy climbing!) unmarked trail to the Mittagstein (1300m) then continue to the Knofeleben (formerly the Friedrich Haller Haus) for lunch. Return via normal, marked footpaths to Payerbach.

Meet: 7.05 Wien Bahnhof Meidling by the ticket machines. Buy a ticket to Payerbach.
Return: 18.27 in Meidling, or later if we decide to go for dinner/drinks in Payerbach
Cost: Train ~€15 with Vorteilscard, plus Local bus to Hirschwang and lunch.
Registration: Required by Thursday 21st November.
