Description: Visit the Monestary Klosterneuburg (the ‘Austrian Escorial’) with a guided tour in English. Then have a walk through Klosterneuburg and Buchberg to Weidling. After lunch we will hike via Sulzwiese or Jägerwiese to Grinzing

Route: Klosterneuburg- Stift Klosterneuburg (guided tour) –
Buchberg – Weidling (Lunch) – Sulzwiese/Jägerwiese – Grinzing

Meet: 9:25 am Spittelau (train leaves at 9:41 a.m.; from Franz Josefsbahnhof a bit earlier, from Heiligenstadt a bit later) buy single tickets Wien – Stadtgrenze Kahlenbergerdorf to Klosterneuburg/Kierling

Return: 5 pm Grinzing

Cost: About € 3 train fare with VorteilsCard. Ca. € 10.- for guided tour

Note: The guided tour in English (at least 15 persons) at 10:00 a.m. will take place independent of weather. If fewer than 15 persons register, we will take the German tour.
