Description: This is an easy winter hike. In Reverse this is the start of the pilgramage from Vienna to Mariazell. We can visit the church of the monastery Heiligenkreuz and have a nice lookout from the Josefswarte.
Route: Heiligenkreuz (312m) – Sittendorf (370m) – Kreuzsattel – Hoellenstein (645m) – Kammersteinerhuette (582m) lunch – Rodaun and tram 60

Meet: 8:35 a.m. at Wien Mitte-Landstrasse UBahn/Train station at ticket machines on Landstrasse. S1 direction Wiener Neustadt leaves 8:51 a.m. from platform/gleis 2. (in Moedling we will change to bus 365).
Return: Around 3 p.m. to Rodaun at end of Tram 60
Cost: Approx. 5 EUR full fare for train and bus Vienna to Heiligenkreuz via Moedling.
