The western half of Vienna’s 16th district has a great variety of `townscape’ and landscape, from factories to vineyards and ‘do-it-yourself’ housing to the Vienna Woods.
Route:
Zigzag through Ottakring west of the Vorortelinie after a brief visit to the district museum.

Saturday 28 March, Ottakring Vorortelinie (S 45) station 13.45, in the hall below the U-3 terminal.
Return:
After dinner at an Ottakring Heuriger.

Local transport tickets.

Some of the walk will take us throughe the Vienna Woods, so proper footwear is recommended.
