Description: Let’s do a scenic circular hike over the Kreuzberg ridge to experience the late autumnal colours! Further highlights: romantic valleys, stunning panoramic views and the idyllic situated Speckbacher Hütte, where rural goodies are served.
Route: Payerbach (472) – Stojerhöhe (810) – Speckbacher Hütte (1094 m), lunch – Kreuzberg (1084) – Klammer Kapelle (749) – Küb (550) – Payerbach
Map: freytag & berndt WK 022, Semmering, Rax; ÖK25V 4212-Ost/West
Meet: 7:45 am. railway station Meidling/U6 in front of the ticket centre. Einfach-Raus-Ticket: 2-5 persons for EUR 36, – the whole day. Please group by five and buy it together. R-train dep. 8:04 (Baden 8:24) to Payerbach-Reichenau arr. 9:30 am.
Return: About 6 pm. Wien Meidling
Cost: About EUR 7, – train fare.
Registration: By Friday, 13 Nov. to leader. I will stay at a health resort in Baden till Nov. 12th. I’ll try to send you the confirmation on Fri. 13th. All persons which registered with the Club’s Website will count automaticly as participants.
Note: Clothing according to weather conditions, wear hiking boots, take with you anorak, cap, rain gear, hiking poles, head lamp or flashlights just in case, drinks and snacks.
