Description:
We will visit the newly renovated Stift Klosterneuburg (the ‘Austrian Escorial’) and have guided tour in English for about 1 hour. Then we will hike through the Vienna woods back to Vienna having lunch in Gasthaus Jaegerwiese. Depending on weather conditions in January this program might change.
Route: Klosterneuburg- Stift Klosterneuburg (guided tour) – Weidling – Jaegerwiese(Lunch) – Hermannskogel – Grinzing

Return: around 5 p.m. Grinzing tram 38/ bus 38A
Cost: About € 3 train fare with VorteilsCard. Ca. € 10.- for guided tour
Registration: by 15 Jan to confirm the booking of the tour in English
Note: The guided tour in English (at least 15 persons) at 10:00 a.m. will take place independent of weather. If less than 15 persons register, we will take the German tour.
Clothing according to weather conditions, sticks are recommended, hot drinks, snacks, lunch is planned at 13:00.
