Sunday, 22 March 2020: Eichkogel (Mödling)- CANCELLED DUE TO CORONA VIRUS
Description: The Eichkogel, the most southern-eastern hill of Wienerwald in the area, is famous for its mild and dry climate. Weather permitting we should see early spring flowers. As the focus is on spring flowers we will spend a lot of time on the Eichkogel, weather permitting
Route: Mödling – Eichkogel – Richardshof – Gumpoldskirchen (late lunch at Heuriger)
Map: any map showing the southern Vienna Woods
Meet: 9:20 at Wien Meidling (ticket offices)
Return: around 4 pm
Cost: train tickets from Meidling to Mödling and back from Gumpoldskirchen to Meidling (vary depending on whether you have ÖBB Vorteilticket, ticket for Vienna city, etc., but less than 10 Euro)
