Description: the Wechsel is the eastern-most “real” mountain of the Alps, yet it is essentially a huge hill. Weather permitting we should have nice views
Route: From Aspang by taxi to Mariensee (815m) – Marienseer Schwaig (1478m) – Hochwechsel (1743 m) – Vorauer Schweig (1509m) – down on the “Steinerne Stiege” to Mönichkirchner Schwaig (1174m) – taxi back to Aspang
Meet: 7:40 at Wien Meidling at ticket counter, be in time, we will buy Eingfach Raus tickets, we change in Wiener Neustadt.
Return: before 8 pm
Cost: Einfachrausticket (11 Euro, depending on number of participants) + taxi
Registration: by 25 July
Note: We will have snacks at the Marienseer Schwaig and the Vorauer Schwaig, but bring snacks and drinks anyway; dress according to weather, the Wechsel is very exposed in case of wind and rain
