11-14 March: Snow shoe hiking Hoellengebirge
Route: Friday: By train to Ebensee, cable car to Feuerkogel, and then 3 hours snow shoe hike WITH all luggage to the Riederhut (www.riederhuette.at). This hut is our base camp for three nights. The hut is quaint and simple, no shower, in the middle of nowhere.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning we improvise ourselves through the landscape. Monday afternoon we go the same way back as we came.
Meet: Friday 7:45 am Meidling ticket counters
Return: Monday 21:00

Note: this is a hike for people who like the tranquility of nature, are fit, and are able to pack a light weight back pack. People with heavy backpacks i will send back home, sorry, but i have seen too many self created problems.
