*Description:*Scenic hill walking in the Naturpark Sierningtal,in the Schneeberg area.From the Gfieder- viewing tower we can see Schneeberg and Rax.It is totally 500 m up and down,about 15 km.
*Route:*Ternitz Bahnhof,by bus to St Johann am Steinfeld-Gfiederstrasse-Gfieder(609m),look-out-tower-4 Brüder Baum-Weisses Kreuz-Sieding(lunch)-Hintenburg-Ternitz
*Map:*ÖK 25V 5207 West,ÖK 25V 4212 Ost
*Meet:*8:20 a.m.at ticket machines Bahnhof Meidling(U6),train departs at 8:37,arriving Ternitz 9:50
be in time to get Einfach-Raus-Tickets(group 5 together).We go by bus to St Johann am Steinfeld(another 5 minutes).
*Return:*train departs 5:11 p.m. from Ternitz,arriving in Meidling at 6:23 p.m.If we miss,1 hour later.
*Cost:*with Einfach-Raus tickets about 10 Euro per person,otherwise 15 to 30 Euro,depending wether you have Vorteilscard or not.So be in time to group to 5 persons.
