Description: A nice long hike in the southern Wienerwald from Rodaun to Hoellenstein to Wiener Huette and back to Rodaun.
Route: Rodaun (266m) – Kammersteiner Huette (582m) – Hoellenstein Haus (645m) lunch – Sulzerhoehe – Rotes Kreuz – Wiener Huette – Rodaun.
Map: Wander Atlas Wienerwald, F&B.
Meet: 8:30 a.m. U4 Hietzing at Tram 60.
Return: around 5:00 p.m. to Rodaun.
Cost: Public transport plus food and drinks in the hut.
Registration: by 20 October.
Note: Be prepared for a long hike – 21 kilometers. Good hiking boots and dress according to weather forecast.
