Shorter Stay: Possible – pls contact hike leader

Description:
We will spend 4 days (or less) in Werfenweng and practice different winter activities:
snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tobogganing.
Maybe there’ the possibility for iceskating and a ride on a horse sledge as well.
Werfenweng is a small village at an altitude of 1000m, 45km south of Salzburg

Beginners and experienced winter-lovers are welcome to join! :-)

All activities are suitable for absolute beginners – provided good physical health and normal abilities in body control and sense of balance.
You should not be scared of falling and be ready to get to know snow from close!

Basic instructions for beginners will be given by the hike leader and we will do some exercises to get used to the equipment and movements.

Depending on the activity and the experience of the participants we will split into 2 groups.

Alpine skiing is also possible in Werfenweng – not part of the planned programme, but can easily be organized individually.

Note:
All equipment can be rented at Werfenweng.
We will take part in the SAMO project (“Sanfte Mobilität”) and buy the Samo-Card for EUR 10.- and thus have local transport, equipment rental (provided availability), ride with cable car, etc for free

A) Bed and Breakfast, double and maybe triple rooms, approx. EUR 35.- per person per night
B) 4-Star Hotel with Wellness area (Hotel Elisabeth), halfboad approx. EUR 115.- per person per night – available only from friday
