27-28 April 2017; Drei-Berge-Wallfahrt (Three Mountain Overnight Hike)
Description: This is an annual pilgrimage hike in southern Carinthia. A priest carrying a cross leads the groups of approximately 300 hikers up and down three mountains from Lisnaberg to Heiligengrab. Atop each of the three mountains a mass is said while most hikers sit outside resting. The hike starts at midnight at the top of the Lisnaberg with a mass and ends at approximately 9 a.m. the following morning in Heiligengrab.
Route: Lisnabert – Santa Lucia – Heiligenstadt – Heiligengrab.

Meet: 16:00 p.m. at Wien Hauptbahnhof ticket machines on Thursday, 27 April. Train to Klagenfurt leaves at 16:25 p.m.
Return: Friday 28 April at 15:35 to Wien Hauptbahnhof
Cost: Train and bus and money for snacks

Note: BRING FLASHLIGHT and spare batteries as this is a night hike. Dress according to weather forecast and bring drink and snacks. Hiking boots and rain gear.
