Description: With ist 890m the Schöpfl is the highest elevation of the Vienna Woods. We shall walk along a ridge of hills starting from Eichgraben.
Route: Eichgraben – Hochstrass – Hasengiegel – Forsthof – Schöpfl (lunch in hut) – Laaben.
Map: F&B Wienerwald, WK11, or Wienerwald Atlas, Sheets 12 and 18
Meet: Hütteldorf (U4), Exit Keisslergasse, at 8:40 a.m.; Train to Eichgraben departs at 9:00 a.m.
Return: At 5:10 p.m. by bus from Laaben; arriving Vienna 1 hour later
Cost: Ca. EUR 10.- for train and bus fares, lunch in hut
