13th May 2017: Bicycle Trip to Liechtenstein Schlösser (CR)
Description: From Bernhardsthal we shall cycle over the border to the Czech Republic and visit the Castles and parks of Valtice and Lednice, until 1918 residence of the Liechtenstein family
Route: Bernhardsthal – Katzelsdorf – Schattenberg – Valtice (Feldsberg) – Lednice (Eisgrub) – Neuhof – Reintal – Bernhardsthal. Ca. 60km, a little hilly
Map: Bike line, Radkarte Weinviertel
Meet: Wien Floridsdorf, at 8:10 am, near the U6/S-Bahn ticket machines; Train departs at 8:26 am.
Return: From Bernhardsthal at 6:32 pm, arriving Floridsdorf at 7:38 pm.
Cost: Ca. 15 Euros for Train fare incl. bicycle Transport (with Vorteilscard, full fare double); it is also possible to get an “Einfach Raus Ticket”

Note: Equipment appropriate to the weather, Snacks and drink; lunch will be taken in a Gasthaus; make sure that your BICYCLE IS IN A GOOD STATE! DO NOT FORGET PASSPORT! Czech money is an advance, but not a necessity!
