Description: This is the third attempt for this hike. Rain and thunderstorms prevented us to walk the Grafensteig on previous occasions.
After a short climb up to Edelweißhütte we shall walk along the Northern flank of the Schneeberg and down to Puchberg.

Route: Losenheim – Edelweißhütte – Nördlicher Grafensteig – Baumgartner – Puchberg. 6-7 hours, moderate pace.

Meet: At 6:45 a.m. Wien Meidling (U6), near the ticket machines; Train (railjet) departs at 7:05. Change in Wiener Neustadt, bus from Puchberg to Losenheim

Return: By train from Puchberg, at 5:38 p.m.

Cost: Ca. EUR 20 for Train and bus fares (with Vorteilscard)

Registration: By Friday, 29 September, to hike leader

Note: Proper hiking boots, clothing according to the weather, rainwear, food and drinks; hut/Gasthaus only at the beginning and at the end of the hike.
