Description: The Welterbesteig Wachau is an extended walking route (180 km) linking the 13 communities of the UNESCO World Heritage site Wachau. The most beautiful walking routes and historic paths take you to unforgettable view points. We will do the 2nd stage of this trail. During our varied hike we will pass steep rocks, stroll over gentle hills and descend through scented vineyards to the wine-growing municipality of Weißenkirchen in the heart of the Wachau.
Route: Dürnstein (209) – Burgruine castle ruin – Fesslhütte hut (525 m) – Jägerberg – Falkenwände – Schildhütten, Heuriger Pomassl (339) wine tavern with local flavour – panorama trail Achleiten – Weißenkirchen (224) with many fine wine taverns.

Meet: 7:50 a.m. Bahnhof Floridsdorf ticket hall, group by 5 to get Einfach-Raus ticket
